Scorned by her family. Banished by her kind. Hunted by zealots.Where does an exiled Fairy Queen hide?A remote mountain cabin, the seedy underbelly of a metropolis, or an uninhabited island. All would be good choices, however, after hundreds of years on the run, the daughter of Oberon, King of the Wild Fairies, signs a binding contract with the zealots that hunt her. In exchange, they allow her to settle down in the last place anyone would look for fairy royalty. A trailer park.Adopting the name Grace Ann Bryant, the Queen buys a double-wide and moves into a trailer park in the one-horse town of Shady Grove, Alabama. Her contract requires her to use her unique fairy magic to aid the local sheriff, Dylan Riggs, when supernatural problems arise. For a tiny human town, these events unnaturally occur all too often. When two children disappear, the humans point to the trailer park queen helping the sheriff, and the zealots point at the exiled fairy. Grace must decide whether to fight for her innocence or break her contract returning to life on the run.Bless Your Heart is a Southern Urban Fantasy that will make you laugh, cry, and laugh until you cry, as Grace wrestles with the dark fairy inside herself and starts to see that she’s more than just trailer trash. If you enjoy a smart-mouthed heroine, small-town antics, and fairy magic, you will love Bless Your Heart, the first book in Fairy Tales of a Trailer Park Queen series by Kimbra Swain. You've never read the Fae like this! Download today!Interview with Kimbra SwainQ: Why did you write the Fairy Tales of a Trailer Park Queen Series?A: I was born and raised in Alabama, and I loved the Urban Fantasy genre. I wanted to mix those two things, but remain true to the Southern traditions and values that I was raised on: family, community, and determination. The Trailer Park Series is my ode to the South.Q: What is the most important part of the Fairy Tales of a Trailer Park Queen to you?A: Every single character in the series is real to me. The development of each one is so important for me going through the series. Some of them, including Grace, start off with many flaws. I should say especially Grace.Q: How much of Grace is patterned after yourself?A: Oh, gosh! Grace and I are a lot alike. Sassy and smart. However, Grace is very compassionate and trusting. She's also got a mouth on her. She says things that aren't PC, but as her character develops over the series, she sees that there were things she was very wrong about. Grace's story is about becoming who she was meant to be, and fate doesn't define that purpose. She does.Q: What are your future plans for the Trailerverse?A: The main series will have 15 books with a short story anthology focusing on the minor characters. I will be launching Wynonna's story this fall in Stories of Frost and Fire. The werewolf, Dominick Meyer, will also get his own series called Dog River Wolfpack. It will launch this fall, too. I have future undetermined plans to expand the Trailerverse. Follow my website and the Trailerverse site to keep up with the announcements!
